You will now be able to search Portal products by going to Products - Product Manager - Click the orange cogwheel - Search Portal.
Product Sync
Brand / Model Number must be a 100% match to avoid duplicates.
Product(s) can only be brought into ProjX360 one at a time.
Sync Client/Opportunity
Create client record in ProjX360.
Create your Opportunity and attach to a client.
In the Opportunity click the cog “Create Portal Client”. You will see a “Success!” message pop up modal stating that the client successfully created via the Portal API. You will need to go into Portal and create a proposal with this new client. *Note: Do not push the same client twice this will create a duplicate in Portal. If this happens you will need to go into Portal to delete it.
Proposal Sync
In ProjX360 Settings > Phases - make sure labor phases match what you have in Portal exactly along with pricing otherwise it will create a duplicate.
Brand / Model Number must be a 100% match to avoid duplicates.
Make sure the Portal proposal is finished before you sync over to ProjX360.
Portal proposal must be of status: Accepted.
In ProjX360 go to > Integrations from the menu. Look for Portal Proposals. You will see all Portal proposals from this drop down. Use the search bar to easily locate which proposal you are looking for. Click Sync Portal Proposal to pull into ProjX360.
On the Portal Proposal Import pop up select a ProjX360 client to match to. Please make sure you are 100% matching to the correct client record. Wait for the sync to finish. It will show Import complete.
In ProjX360 go to > Proposals from the menu. You can use the search bar to locate your imported Portal proposal or click the column header to sort by last updated so your latest date is at the top.
Use the Push Product/Related Projects to push all of your product w/labor to your Project. Your labor break out will show the labor phase/hours.
In ProjX360 open your Project. The proposal will now show up under Project Products. You can proceed with the same process if you are using Inventory to request these products or create a WO to pull in your proposal product.
Additional Information
We do not send over the client address or company field. This is not currently supported with the Portal API.
One by one process to push clients from ProjX360 to Portal. There is not a mass push option.
In Portal do not have different phases per product. This is not supported.
If the labor phase exists in ProjX360 we use that phase. If it does not exist we use what is in Portal and the new phase will be added to ProjX360.
Do not delete any brand: Portal labor labeled product in the ProjX360 product manager.
We do not send over Portal change orders through the API. This is not supported. You will need to create your CO as a proposal if you want to push from Portal to ProjX360.
